Westmann Primus-Multi Plus M: a warm bed in the elegance of a wood look
Primus-Multi Plus M is a metal raised bed of powder coated steel that, with its wood texture, comes warmly to life in any garden, on a terrace or balcony. The narrow, tall design takes up little space yet offers a lot: a deep bed for vegetables and herbs below, and a polycarbonate cover on top that turns the bed into a warm greenhouse. At 113 cm in height you garden comfortably standing, without bending.
The beauty of wood without the maintenance of wood
The frame is made of galvanised and powder coated steel with a wood decor, so you get the look of natural wood without cracks, rot and yearly coating. The surface does not rust and stays attractive year after year. The open base maintains contact with the soil, which reduces waterlogging and encourages healthy growth, while a built in protective edge deters slugs.
You simply attach the included cover with eight millimetre twin wall polycarbonate panels to the bed. These let light through and retain heat, so you can sow earlier in spring and protect the crop longer in autumn. The lift up lid with a catch allows easy ventilation and access to the plants. The kit includes the bed, the cover, a connecting clip and all the fixing material.
