Westmann Primus Plus M: a raised bed with a polycarbonate cover
Primus Plus M is a metal raised bed of powder coated steel with an eight millimetre polycarbonate cover. The narrow, tall design takes up little space and fits perfectly in the garden, on a terrace or balcony. Vegetables and herbs grow below, while the cover on top creates a warm greenhouse for earlier sowing. At 113 cm in height you tend the garden comfortably standing, without bending and kneeling.
A longer season, a larger harvest
The body of the bed is made of galvanised and powder coated steel in anthracite, so it does not rust and keeps a clean, modern surface season after season. The open base maintains contact with the soil, which reduces waterlogging and encourages healthy rooting. A built in protective edge deters slugs, and all the fixing material for assembly is included.
The included cover with eight millimetre twin wall polycarbonate panels retains heat and lets light through, so seedlings grow in stable, protected conditions. You can sow earlier in spring and protect the crop longer in autumn. The kit includes the bed, the cover, a connecting strip and the fixing material, and assembly is simple with standard tools.
