Westmann Primus: 385 litres of growing space at working height
Primus is a robust metal raised bed that, on a small footprint, offers a full 385 litres of soil space. Growing is done at a comfortable working height of 77 cm, without bending and crouching, while the integrated slug barrier protects the crop from uninvited visitors. Made of galvanised, powder coated steel in anthracite, so it is weather resistant and does not rust.
Durability that resists the weather
The walls are made of 1 mm thick galvanised steel with powder coating in anthracite (RAL 7016), so they resist rain, sun and frost, do not rust and keep their fine colour year after year. Stainless steel screws hold the structure together, while the open base allows natural drainage and a connection with the soil beneath the bed, which benefits the roots and soil organisms.
The integrated slug barrier on the upper edge deters slugs from reaching your lettuce and herbs. The upright design with a small footprint saves space while offering a large 385 litres of volume, enough for a rich season of vegetables, herbs or flowers.
