Westmann Tega: a metal cover for a raised bed, one product with two roles
Tega is a polycarbonate cover that you simply place on a raised bed and turn it into a warm greenhouse. The eight millimetre twin wall panels let light through and retain heat, so you can sow earlier in spring and protect the crop longer in autumn. You can also use it on its own on the ground as a classic cold frame. One product, two roles.
A longer season, protected seedlings
The frame is made of galvanised and powder coated steel in anthracite, so it does not rust and keeps a fine surface for a long time. The walls are formed by eight millimetre twin wall polycarbonate panels, which are UV resistant and diffuse light, while protecting seedlings from cold, wind and rain. Inside it a warm, stable microclimate forms for earlier sowing and longer growth.
The lift up lid with a built in catch allows easy ventilation and comfortable access to the plants, while the lid is held safely shut in wind. The cover attaches to the Primus M and Plexa raised beds, but also works on its own on the ground as a cold frame. All the fixing material is included, and assembly is simple with standard tools.
